Brooklyn-based synth folk artist Helado Negro has joined forces with Flock of Dimes - a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist best know for being a member Wye Oak, and more recently, Bon Iver. The two have released a cover of 'Lotta Love', a song originally by Neil Young, and popularised by Nicolette Larson's cover in the late 70's. The new Helado Negro and Flock of Dimes version is a hopeful, piano-based track. Helado Negro's soft, whispered tone, against Flock of Dimes' expansive, reverberated parts, make for a dreamy vocal combination in lines like, 'it's gonna take a lotta love to change the way things are, it's gonna take a lotta love or we son't get too far'. 'Lotta Love' is a heart-felt duet. -Ellie Rose-Davies
